The history of Julia's marriage looks like a Christmas fairy tale The history of Julia's marriage looks like a Christmas fairy tale. This delicate and attractive brunette was chosen among other 50 Vinnitsya brides by the owner of Holland computer firm Daniel van Hogan, and he became her loving husband, faithful friend and father for their daughter Angela!

I married a Holland prince!

This exact phrase was heard by me in one of the convenient Vinnitsya cafes from my classmate Julia.
I met Julia during our Christmas holidays. Julia's husband, Daniel also came to the meeting; he was a tall and well-proportioned man with the manners of a real gentleman. "It's my husband", - Julia said smiling. Judging by his accent I guessed that he was a foreigner. But it was only accent! His language was almost perfect! "Don't be surprised", - Julia said. "I could speak English only with a dictionary, that's why Dan learned Russian for a couple of months! He bravely had been learning the language, using every possible minute, and I, of course, helped him. After one year I had spent at Dutch language courses I began speaking Dutch. "Is it possible to fall in love with a person only by letters and telephone conversations?', - she went on. "I can say for sure it is possible! Dan belongs to the men of a strong type and at the same time he respects me. When we decided to get married he said to me: "I always wanted to meet a woman like you, whom I could make happy".

As more experienced and mature person my husband understood, that our marriage would bring a lot of difficulties for me. In order I could learn the language faster and better, to get to know something about culture and customs of Holland, we spent with my husband every weekends travelling around the country. We visited such large cities as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Gauge, and also we spent a lot of days near the numerous lakes in small and convenient villages. To be honest, I was very happy: my Daniel was so attentive, tender and careful! My anxiety and agitation was gone in some months!"

"My relationships with my mother-in-law were very successful. Mother Anna has 5 more children, except Daniel, she is a very wise woman. At first I tried to keep the distance between us, but the mother treated me like her own child, even with my "distance". She accepts people the way they are, she constantly takes care of someone, and she reminds me of my grandmother. But I had some difficulties with my own mother - She was categorically against our marriage. "Think of the fact that he is 15 years older than you - it's a great risk!" But I made the decision and never regretted about it. But now my mother can't stop repeating: "You have the best husband in the world!"

"This year is very important for me- Daniel and I got married 4 years ago, and in September our little angel -Angelina was born to this world", Julia told. Daniel is really good and he is a very careful father. Angelina used to cry at nights, and basically Daniel didn't sleep at all. My husband stood up 3-4 times at night to calm down our daughter, he just spared me.
Sometimes I wonder how strangely my destiny was turned. I admire the picturesque views of our wonderful and comfortable Maastricht, neat one-floor houses, among which the beige one with claret roof is my "modest" shelter. For Holland it is an average house, but for me, having lived with parents in 20metres room in communal apartment, this house looks like my dream!

I am often asked whether I miss my Motherland or don't. When I had lived in Holland for a year and then came to visit my mother in Vinnitsya and in a week I wanted to go back home to Holland, my mother couldn't' believe me. "This is your home! You lived here more than 20 years!" But I felt that my home is with my husband, whom I greatly missed. I missed my dog - Doberman Vayka, which was presented to me by Daniel for Christmas in Vinnitsya, and we had a lot of problems to take it to Holland. Yeah, with a great pleasure I come to my Motherland, and visit my friends. I enjoy long talks in the kitchen with drinking tea, I admire old movies, I buy kvass and real cottage cheese, which I can't find in Maastricht, and I buy a lot of books every time I come to Vinnitsya. "I would undoubtedly miss all that, if I didn't have any possibility o come here". International marriages break the borders between the countries. Conversations through Internet is not exotic anymore, it is a part of our life. What can be more beautiful than love, which don't know any national and territory obstacles? The main thing for every woman was and is her family.
